Ein gedi and Masada


Drive through the Judean desert to the Dead Sea the lowest point on earth.

Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Ein Gedi Nature Reserve, an oasis in the desert, Waterfalls, cold pools, thick vegetation and rare wildlife. From time to time we may observe wildlife walking around: Ibex, rock hyrax, river crabs and others.

Continue to Masada , ascend by cable car to tour the ancient fortress built by King Herod, where the Zealots held out against the might of the Roman legion, after the destruction of the second temple.

Visit the remains of the walls, palaces, synagogue, water cisterns, mosaic floors, the bathhouses, and other findings.

Descend by cable car.

End the day enjoy the unique opportunity to swim and float in the Dead Sea and experience the medicinal properties of its saline waters.
